Commonly used to diagnose a multitude of conditions, the veterinary X-Ray is a primary component of our diagnostic arsenal.

Our doctors may see conditions such a obstructions due to a foreign body, diagnose heart disease, or examine a fracture with an X-ray machine.

We have a brand new state-of-the-art X-Ray machine which provides our doctors with excellent quality images.

Rest assured that our doctors have all of the latest technology to take care of your pet in a time of emergency.

X-rays can be stressful for any pet, but our staff is trained to take extra time in making your pet comfortable while performing these necessary diagnostics.

Ultrasonography

Ultrasonography is a safe, painless and simple way to image internal organs in greater detail than can sometimes be seen with a regular x-ray machine. Ultrasounds can be used to image the internal structure of organs such as the liver and spleen, find bladder stones, and locate tumors. The ultrasound is critical in emergency situations for imaging the abdomen in cases of trauma to look for bleeding. Also helpful for obtaining tissue samples (biopsy), the image of the ultrasound is used by our veterinarians can obtain a small tissue sample which can be sent to the pathologist. We also routinely use the ultrasound to visualize puppies and kittens in-utero.
