Dr. Elizabeth Gigis' goal in life was always to become a veterinarian. She was raised in Ohio and started her very first veterinary position at 15 years old. Dr. Liz graduated from Ohio State School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005.
Dr. Liz's love for animals is her passion and career. After graduation, she moved to Arizona. Here, she and her husband Mike managed an emergency, medical, surgical veterinary center. Liz is a member of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association, and the Veterinary Information Network.
Liz and Mike have one son, Michael II, and two dogs (Max and Duncan).
Meet Dr David Pierson
Dr. David Pierson is our associate veterinarian. A 2003 graduate of Ohio State University, he has a broad knowledge base in caring for small animals. Previously a large animal veterinarian, he was an intern at Rood and Riddle, one of the top animal hospitals in the country for horses.
His main interest is internal medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing and running.
Meet Dr. Jennifer Malcolm
Dr. Jennifer Malcolm grew up in Cincinnati, but traveled overseas to Scotland to attend veterinary school. She graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, and is a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. She has always had a love for medicine and animals, and becoming a veterinarian was a life-long dream.
In her spare time Dr. Jen enjoys spending time with her husband, Tony. They are expecting their first son to be born in mid-September. They have two cats (Stink and Mouse), and one dog named Turtle.
Meet RN Michael Gigis
A 23 year veteran of the US Army, Mike adds leadership ability, experience, enthusiasm, and energy to our clinic. His sense of humor and quick wit are sure to always brighten our day. He is a registered nurse and has experience in emergency medicine, surgery, post anesthesia, and cardiovascular ICU.
His favorite part of the day is greeting and getting to know all of the pets that come into the clinic.
Meet Groomer Nancy Hardman
Nancy Hardman, Veterinary Technician and Groomer, has 19 years of experience with veterinary nursing and professional grooming. Nancy is involved with all aspects of the practice. Her obvious love and compassion for animals lends a calming sense of security to each pet for which she cares.
She shares her home with her fiancé Mike, “Chupie” the Chihuahua, “Abbie” the Staffordshire Terrier, “Isabella” the Border Collie, and “Sunny” the Siamese kitty.
Meet Nancy Martin
Nancy Martin graduated from Brown Mackie College with an Associate's Degree of Veterinary Technology in 2011. She will be taking the Veterinary Technology National Exam in the near future in order to become registered in the state of Ohio.
Nancy enjoys spending free time with her husband Mark and her grandchildren; not to mention her 6 dogs: Gator, Belle, Pistol, Sushi, Saki and Wasabi. In her free time she loves to ride her motorcycle with her husband.
Meet Aaron Cutaia
Aaron Cutaia, Veterinary Technician, moved from sunny California to West Chester, Ohio.
Aaron has 14 years of veterinary nursing experience at an emergency specialty practice in San Diego, CA. As the doctor's assistant, Aaron is with your pet during all procedures, vaccinations, and during surgery.
Aaron enjoys surfing, golfing, and scuba diving in his spare time. He shares his home with his girlfriend Debbie, his mixed breed dog named "Merrick" and his cat "Grayson".
Meet RVT Cindy Stark
Cindy Stark graduated from the University of Cincinnati with
an Associate's Degree of Veterinary Technology in 2010.
She became an official Registered Veterinary Technician with the state of Ohio in January 2011. She worked as a veterinary assistant for 3 years prior to becoming registered.
Cindy enjoys spending free time with her family and friends. Some of her friends include her French Mastiff, Hooch, and her Amazon Parrot, Peanut. She also volunteers for Arrowhead Reptile Rescue and keeps a Ball Python, a Burmese Python and a Tegu Monitor.
Meet Kelly Fair
Kelly Fair is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Animal Science. She is currently pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine. She comes with two years of experience as a veterinary assistant.
Kelly has a twin, Megan, who lives in North Carolina. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering at a therapeutic riding center, riding horses and playing with her dog.
She has a Pomeranian named “Hope.”
Meet Megan Stears
Megan Sears is our Receptionist and the friendly face you will see on Saturday morning. She is a part- time receptionist and is a full time veterinary technician student.
Her warm smile and sweet disposition add a touch of happiness to everyone’s day.
She has one dog, "Sophie", and Australian Shepherd Mix.
Meet Courtney Johnson
Courtney Johnson, Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant, is one of the friendly faces who will greet you upon arrival. Courtney has four years of experience in the field of veterinary medicine. Her outgoing, friendly and compassionate personality is a wonderful addition to our vet center team.
In her spare time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Travis and riding dirt bikes. She has one kitty named "Sox".
Meet Alison DiGennaro
Alison DiGennaro is our Kennel Tech who will be giving all her attention to your four-legged companion. She is currently a senior at Mason High School who will be attending the University of Kentucky, where she will study Animal Science, this coming fall. She hopes to eventually pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine.
In her spare time Alison enjoys spending time with her puppy Leo and hanging out with her friends and family.
